OpenContext costs nothing during the closed beta, and this website sells nothing. No page here takes a payment, asks for a card, or offers a subscription, and the publisher has never charged anyone for OpenContext. Because no money changes hands, there is nothing to refund.
The costs that do exist are not ours
Running OpenContext makes calls to the model provider you chose, under your own API key (the credential that identifies your account with that provider): Anthropic, or OpenRouter. Those calls are billed by that provider, on your account with them, at their prices, and a refund of that spend is a matter between you and them. OpenContext shows you an estimated cost before large batches, lets you set daily and weekly spend budgets, lets you stop any run before or while it spends, and has a demo mode that makes no model calls at all, so that spend stays under your control. The publisher receives no part of it.
If you were charged for OpenContext
If someone charged you for OpenContext, for access to the beta, or for a copy of the software, they were not acting for the publisher, and the evaluation license does not permit resale. Please tell the publisher through the contact routes on the terms page so the situation can be addressed, and ask the party who charged you for your money back.
If paid plans ever exist
If OpenContext ever offers a paid plan or a hosted service, the price, the billing terms, and a refund policy will be published before anyone is charged, and this page will be replaced by that policy. Nothing you use today will start charging you without that notice.
